Mission Statement
To discover, document, and advocate for the marine biodiversity and biogeography of the Indian and Pacific Oceans. ORE Goals Provide accurate biogeographic species checklists. Discover and describe new species and geographic records of Indian and Pacific flora and fauna. Document biodiversity and phylogenetic species relationships within the Indian and Pacific Oceans. Report Hawaii Longline Fisheries bycatch records of rare sharks and rays. Create biographical chronicles of prominent researchers. Prepare consulting documents on Pacific Ocean flora. Advocate for environmental issues. |
